Surely an assassination plot would have been considered important enough to "include" in an FBI report if an assassination plot had been discovered?

I guess you're operating on the old truism that if you repeat a lie often enough it'll be believed?

I do see you've come down from accusing him of "plotting" to murder people to accusing him of "saying nothing" about something.

Of course, according to the FBI report, there wasn't anything on the subject of assassination to say. Unless of course the FBI didn't think it was important enough to bother to mention!

But good. We're making progress. Now his "crime" is "saying nothing" 31 years ago about... some proposal or other by somebody (that was voted down), before he resigned.

BFD.
