Oh, so we have finite resources, otherwise GW would invade all those countries whether they have oil or not. LOL You are really a sucker for the neocons. Get a clue. These guys are master scamsters and you're falling for it, making yourself a duped sucker. You should learn more about the mentality within the energy business in Texas and the Gulf. Then you'd begin to u8dnerstand why we are really in Iraq. It has almost nothing to do with 9-11 or terrorism, though now we have invited in the terrorists to attack us. Remember "bring it on!". That was a challenge to terrorists to attack our troops. And they answered. This all pays right into Big Oil's hands. Notice the oil prices sky-high ever since Bush was nominated then took power? No accident. The fleecing of the public is legion and Bush has used the US military to help out the cause.

Funny you should mention Syria. Junior is going to need a new dog to wag starting next week when the bad press hits him regarding the Clinton aides testimony before the 911 panel. I look for the new dog to be Syria unless something else diverts his attention between now and then. You will be seeing a lot of guest appearances by junior's gang on the cable "talk" news shows. Fox news will replay these appearances and speeches all day long. Junior himself will be wagging the same dog with the same enthusiasm but he will be limited to reading speeches at canned events since it is so dangerous for them to allow people to ask him any questions. In 2 weeks they will have the new dog fully vilified. On the GWB board some will be wanting to attack the new dog immediately.
