Party members accept wrongs by their own. No doubt about it and put on halos when the opposition does something. Quite funny, but a sad commentary on their values.

It's really hard for me to stomach people who criticize the Repubs but tolerate Ted Kennedy.

Yep.

It's really a game played at the expense of the American citizen.

The parties need each other to have somebody to bash, fight, etc. to make it look as though they are doing someting and take the attention off the voters off of what they're NOT doing.

You know the old story -- one lawyer in a town starves, two lawyers in a town get rich.

Same principle in politics today.
