"Watch for that to be reported in your local newspaper." i assume that is a joke. our papers would never carry that fact. Today's protests were led, for the most part, by these Communist front groups

Turns out that some of the counter-protesters were assaulted by the protesters in NYC yesterday. I called my mom and mentioned that Nick had wanted to go, and described what happened, and she had a hard time grasping anti-war protesters attacking counter-protesters. Thought I was telling her that the counter-protesters attacked the protesters. She was thinking that anti-war types were peace-loving. So I said, "well the protests are run by International Answer, which are hard core leftist action direct types," and she had no idea what I was talking about. But she reads the Washington Post every day and watches the news on TV. No idea that the sponsors for the protests are also supporters of Milsovic, and every other anti-American group in the world.
