At Guantanamo people are held, we don't know who or why

We know who and why. They are Al Qaeda and Taliban taken prisoner of war in Afghanistan.

Are you implying that they are US citizens nabbed off the streets of Cincinnati? If so, you have truly lost it.

Bush is not Hitler. Bush is not Saddam

eliminated many of the restraints on uncivilized conduct that formerly made America better than other peoples and countries

Bush is fighting a war. In war, there is always a tradeoff between freedom and security. All you do is whine about Bush's steps, hugely exaggerating them, as you just did about Guantanamo, without even admitting that there is any reason for increased security. What will it take to get you to realize that there is nothing stopping Al Qaeda from blowing up the trains in the US as they did in Madrid, or worse, except what the CIA and FBI can do to prevent the attacks?
