CEF.............

As I toss and turn at night, I sometimes think about CEF

I wish they did not have the premium but the recent CLG debacle is a warning shot for all.

The cost of mining is going to increase.

I have to hope that most miners do not fall victim to russwinter's vision of the train wreck

<It is bitter irony indeed that one of the better mineral deposits on the planet is being hamstrung by the Train Wreck, at exactly the time the product they have is demand. Says something.>

Still the leverage and the potential internet type returns of the miners is too hard to ignore:

russwinter (with a vision of copper silver and commodities in general about to explode) is back into miners for the first time in many months:

I'm with Elizabeth:

I have certainly (so to speak) bet the farm here. My back up is my career. The fact that I have a job is a two edged sword. It takes away a lot of energy and time I could be using on reading charts but it gives me the guts to make extreme bets. If I lose, oh well it's back to the grindstone. If I win, I will have no problems as to what to do (my passions-gym and foreign languages).

Someday I do resolve to adopt a slow and steady scientific and risk limited approach like jims-maybe when I'm 80 <g>.

right now I am more and more depending on this thread and russwinter's-plus Jason Hommel and Claude Cormier.

And Richard Russell and The Privateer (and also I should add Elizabeth Andrews of course)

time is short and I have learned who to listen to.

The final synthesis is mine of course

Thanks again and kudos to nsp for sharing his work in general and for VGZ in particular. Thanks to nsp I sold my entire CDE position and moved most into VGZ.

thinking some more ab out jims' posts

I admit that many I time I have felt Euphoria leading me aloft and I have come across one of jims'posts and have felt annoyed.

But really he is doing me a favor.

This game is extremely risky.
Nothing is guaranteed.
The future is totally uncertain.

So when I read his posts, I walk to the mirror and say: <hey dude, you've gota lot of work to do-this war is far from won> thus pulling myself down from the clouds and putting my feet again solidly on the ground.

There are many gems hidden in jims' posts and they always make me think. I learn best when I synthesize from various viewpoints. I learn nothing from a bullish rah rah. I do learn immensely from the give in take that is going on now on this very thread.

I must say that watching the magic that nsp is weaving with his EW analysis has really been an eye opener. I hope some day to understand it enough to participate at least in a small way.

This is a EW link which I am finding excellent that nsp sent me
