That seems to be the general consensus. Perhaps Toomey will prove to be an outstanding candidate, and beat the Dem. Or a big Bush surge if Kerry continues to slide might put him over.

On the positive side, even if you got a Dem Senator, the Republicans should still hold the Senate. This means they could finally put a conservative Republican on Judiciary to replace Spector. Which they will need the next term to fill the Supreme Court vacancies that are bound to happen.
