I concur with your opinion. I just can't see how they would outperform in the DB/Apps market. If only they had tried acquire PSFT before their JDEdwards merger!

They won't quite go the way of SUNW, but you can't miss the similarities.

A solid franchise BUT its being attacked by IBM (with the old ifmx data base product improving ibm's offerings) as well as MySQL and future open source.

At some point the market is going to punish this one as its overvalued.
