Uh, not exactly. The traitors cannot understand that Saddam was under obligation to verify that he did not have a "button" or plans to get a "button", and that he purposefully failed to fulfil his obligation. This failure alone was enough, particularly in light of 911, to cause great and legitimate concerns regarding his intentions. So, Bush took the most reasonable course of action. He made sure that, one way or another, Saddam promptly fulfilled his obligations.

Now we know that Saddam does not have a "button." We also know he will never acquire a "button" because we have captured his mangy butt and put him in prison. Twelve years of leftist fear and wimpery toward Iraq came to an end when George W. Bush decided to call Saddam's bluff.
