you mean like the 70s? I agree it could be 10 years of a 70s market. This is not an 80s stock market.

We actually have a *booming* economy and certainly the potential for a 90s style market from these levels if we didn't give all the jobs away, and create deficits up the wazoo. To me this whole mess is due to bad leadership.

mindmeid, but when we look at what CSCO, AMAT, Intc, qcom was 18 months ago we have moved up tremendously. Of the above, only qcom has continued to moved their eps up consistently because of india and china. I look for the remaining to move up as well when the demand is there. It is whether we believe what Chambers is telling us or not. The investor will take awhile to get over being burned. I agree with you that, based on demograhics, we will see a move up until 2008-2009. Remember, 2006 is when the broadcast go digital. Will this produce many changes in technology at that time?
