for gods sake. You wingers think you are debating in 99 or something. You want to hang yourselves up on when the recession that we never recovered from happened? Fine. You want to attribute the START of the malaise with Clinton? Fine.

None of this matters. All that matters is whether Bush can create 2 million jobs between now and November. If Bush doesn't create 2 million good jobs, he is out. He has to win the worst economic states in the country to win the election, these are Ohio, Carolinas, WV etc. And he has to win ALL of these states to compensate for the solid blue states with all of the electoral votes who will go Kerry.

If I were you I'd try to come up with a plan to create jobs instead of wasting time on who was in office when the recession started.
