I don't recall the claim Iraq was directly invovled in 911. Though Czech intelligence stand by their claim Atta met with an Iraqi agent right before coming to the US. I suspect he did - what did he go to Prague for? I think there were and are connections between Iraq and AQ and other terrorists. Iraq was harboring a number of terrorists who'd killed Americans including in the first WTC bombing, the Lockerbie bombing, the Achille Lauro. Then there was Zarqawi, an AQ member, now leading the AQ forces in Iraq. They made a mistake about WMD's - or they let them get away, whichever.
