I've got a couple of "soccer mom" sisters. They are an utter disappointment to me. Neither of them wants to hear the truth about George Bush. They want to live in a fantasy land of faith-based ignorance.

One of the real problems that Kerry faces this year is dealing with a retarded general public.

An Adlai Stevenson story is apt.

After one of his terrific stump speeches in the 1956 campaign, an admirer shouted out:

"Adlai, you've got the vote of every thinking person in America!"

To which Adlai replied:

"That's not good enough, we need a majority."
