Hi Searle, I discovered xymphora's blog about a year ago and I've been a consistent fan ever since. I don't think I've ever seen anything that he's written that has struck the wrong chord, while a lot of his investigative work is simply not available elsewhere. He's one of the super-stars of the blogging world, as far as I'm concerned. I like to contrast him to Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit.com who is a despicable excrescence and who seems to have a huge following of No-Nothing Party foot-soldiers who prefer to have their prejudices pampered and posed by a lying sack 'o stuff. I don't know how many readers xymphora has but if insight and truth mattered in America, he'd be a star and Glenn Reynolds would be a forgotten and neglected sot. But this is America, where the truth isn't important and bluster makes all the Viagra-addled morons feel good about their level of swaggering idiocy.
