Re: Yes, and Villainy is the business of government, and [villainy] is also the business of Anarchism.

I mean that those in pursuit of total and absolute freedom of the individual at a given point they must create havoc by all means to bring down a coercive government. Acts of villainy would be the strategy to the creation of havoc and eventual downfall of the government. --not unlike the terrorists are attempting.

The home of Anarcho-Syndicalism is Barcelona, Spain. I made quite a study of the Anarchist movement there and in America, (particularly the Russian strain of Anarchism as represented by Bakunin, Emma Goldman and Alexander Berkman) and the IWW, and I can find little in the literature to suggest that your view is linked to reality.

Most right wingers try to conflate Anarchism with chaos in the minds of those who lack sophitication or the willingness to study Anarchism in its various permutations.

The goals of the Anarchist movement of 100 years ago most closely resembles the Libertarian outlook of today. The idea is to simply try to run our lives without government coercion.

Acts of terrorism, such as the bombing of the J.P. Morgan Bank headquarters in 1921, have been ascribed to anarchists, but no culprit has ever been found. The infamous Sacco and Vanzetti trial almost surely was the state murder of two innocent anarchists who haplessly got caught up in the American xenophobia of that age.

I am not personally aware of any anarchist organization that had as its core organizing principle the terrorization of the civilian population.

Though there are plenty of government actors over the ages who have done just that.

Speaking of which, here's an excellent analysis of the Madrid bombings. Which, as you know, were aimed at the working poor and not at the elites, who are the real enemies of the downtrodden Muslim masses.
