The ironic thing is that Mother Teresa is largely the product of the liberal press. In her they saw a religious person doing good works, and who was tolerant of lepers and other people different from herself. Doing good works? Tolerant? The yuppies jumped all over the Mother Teresa bandwagon. It was only after her death that they realized that yes, this person did have some serious religious convictions, so they preceeded to destroy what they had created.
