Sharon and Bush are both hard-line right wingers and they have many common interests...Sharon owes Bush big time for going ahead with a very unpopular, expensive and dangerous invasion of Iraq...In a sense the United States (run by the NeoConservatives like Cheney and Wolfowitz) is doing exactly what Israel would like it to do (take out Saddam and provide a cheap source of oil). Yet, we have antagonized many or our allies by attacking Iraq. And of course we have made no serious headway towards achieving a real solution for the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Do you think reasonable Republican folks in CONgress (like Chuck Hagel and John McCain) will have the courage to call for a new Independent Counsel authorization??...The Bush crew MUST be investigated....we need to know how they used pre-9/11 and pre-Iraq war intelligence...I have a hunch a huge cover-up is going on. I think this could make The Iran Contra Affair look like kid's stuff...John Dean's latest book is set to be released soon...
