Been doing some dd on PPP and I found this interesting from the annual report:

<<a $2,407,000 write down of the cost of the Company's tubular inventory stock, for which no comparable expenses were incurred in 2002.>>

Seems odd to me that they would have written this asset down based upon what I'm hearing regarding pipe prices.

BTW I think PPP is pretty cheap compared to most E&P's but I'm holding off entering for now due to market conditions.

One other interesting thing on PPP is they have one of the lowest employee counts I can find for a company it's size. They have the same number as many small caps which I find interesting.
