ok, well I those estimates of the volumes out there, I think aren't in terms of recoverable volumes -- I think somebody just did back of the envelope -- don't get me wrong, I hope a lot of it is recoverable -- not sure I share your belief that there will be no energy crisis -- or that these deposits result from ongoing processes that we can just reap periodically -- that would be nice, but I doubt it is likely ...

right now the large NG fields that still remain -- that can be tapped cheaply will be, before methane hydrate gets serious interest, methinks.
