<This goes on all the time.> Yes, and the "eye for an eye" policies of Israel go on all the time as well. Perhaps we are already past the point of no return -- perhaps there is only blood and death for Israelis and Arabs, murder and reprisal, reprisal and murder. Israeli hands have blood on them -- you can use your time and talent to talk about how it is only the Palestinians who are dirty and how Israel is just applying an appropriate policy of murder against murderers. But today's assassination makes many people feel that Israel engages in bloody murder and plays a direct role in perpetuating a hopeless cycle of violence. I am in favor of withdrawing financial and military support for Israel after this -- Israeli violence is intolerable and is not worthy of US support or respect.
