Re: What happened in Florida should scare the heck out of the American Public. Without dissent, there is zero hope. It sure scared the heck out of two of my friends who were at the FTAA protests. One of the two has been to dozens of protests across the globe, and she said that never in the history of WTO-type protests had the police been as vicious, repressive and fascist. This was remarkably more evil than that the police response in Cancun, Seattle, Genoa, or Washington.
