I say this as someone who personally believes in the sanctity (agnostic sanctity) of marriage. But I don't believe in forcing other people to march in my parade. If the Bush folks had any brains they wouldn't be pissing off so many different special interest groups. Each by each they may be small, but piss off enough of them, and it could cost him the election. And a bad stock market won't help him either :-) Though unfortunately that also hurts a lot of other people, too. Course Mr X says the Bushies will inflate the market before the election. It will be interesting to see if that happens. Correlation is not absolute proof, but still, it will be interesting.
