I subscribe to Hubbert Peak As do I. dont jump down my throat I think perhaps you misinterpreted my post. I know I can be obscure at times. What I meant by "back shifting" the Hubbert Peak was that if the Arab reserves are "half lies" then the Hubbert Peak instead of being around now (Global oil production will probably reach a peak sometime during this decade. pup.princeton.edu ), may have occurred around a decade ago - and we are now on the downslope after the peak. Just a thought. lurqer
