The Republican "official" support for Spekter is mostly courtesy, and partly the last BobDole's Disease victims trying to hang on.

If Moore can win it for Toomey, the word will be out to the Moron Squad in the Senate: The Democrats may be finished, but YOUR JOB is NOT secure.

And that will be critical, since the Republicans will stand unopposed in January, 2005.

Moore says this is their best chance ever. And Remish Ponuru at National Review just did a tremendous article on the absolute DISASTER it would be for pro-Americans if Spekter is given a "final" term.

Let's hope Club For Growth can do what the Senate Republicans failed to even think of, under Dole and Lott...

And if he gets Spekter's scalp under his belt, Stephen Moore may just chase Mad Cow McCain out of politics without even going to the trouble of beating him in a primary...
