That's an interesting possibility, which I had not considered, and which I would not normally expect. Are options normally that sticky relative to stocks, or is some other factor at play? I would call such a stickiness an arbitrage opportunity, and would have expected that retail traders would be at a disadvantage in seizing them, relative to market makers.
