They can afford it.

Most of us can't.

Unless they're each willing to pony up, say, 10 billion in taxes this year. Voluntarily. You do know that it's legal voluntarily to make contributions (which social security payments are called, as we all know) to the US government.

Now, if they each put $10 billion where their mouths are, I would be impressed.
