Spanish voters threw out the ruling party because the ruling party lied about who blew up the trains. Most people in the world don't re-elect their leaders if they lied. The opposition party in Spain had made it a policy to pull their troops out of Iraq before the train blasts happened. And by their actions, the new government has made it clear that they will fight terrorism the right way -- not by colonizing countries that had nothing to do with the terror attacks.
