After the recent obscene scandals on Wall St., a reasonable capitalist should say the time has come for them to not take quite so much pride in their greed. It has lead to corruption of the foremost capitalist system in the world. At this point, the American capitalist system is benefiting merely the investor class. The workers are dropped like an old shoe as soon as there's cheaper labor to exploit elsewhere.

That was the kneejerk reaction up until the 21stC....if today's capitalists want GW Bush in oval ofc for next 4yrs, they will need to compromise their fundamentalist greed dogma.

I get a good laugh out of some of the comments that fly around about a corporation's responsibility to its workers. Any American worker who got an offer from another employer to do the same job at a better wage would take it at once, and nobody would offer a word of criticism. If a corporation can get someone to do the same job a t a better price, and takes the offer, we hear all kinds of howls.

If the "responsibility" isn't reciprocal, it doesn't exist.

Not true. A capitalist is proud of what he builds, not what he is able to grasp.

Capitalists are by their very nature greedy, and they are proud of it
