I was wasting a couple of hours today in the 75 degree beautiful weather in Reno. Looking down from my third floor balcony, I saw a rather large woman pull into the only parking space of a dozen that was next to another car. She proceeded tp park her van with her left side tires on the white line. As she was within one foot of the neighboring vehicle, she dinged the car's door when she slung her door open. Then did again when she left a few minutes later. Her van was none the less for wear but the car next to her had a double hit in his passenger door. I think driver's license exams should require passing a more difficult test; like pulling straight into the middle of a marked space instead of the "almost close enough". Pet peeves: people who can't park between two lines without stopping on top of one of them, and the apparent total ignorance of the function of turn signals - they are supposed to signal to others your intention to turn or change lanes, not the fact that you're in middle of said maneuver. aaarrrrghhh!
