There are two powerful economic threads that I see as a vastly greater threat to the nation than any terrorist incident could ever hope to be. One is the undercover inflation in basic commodities we've been discussion. And the other is the inexorable hollowing out of the American workplace: businessweekasia.com Notice that this bad news is on the Business Week Asia site. So that puddin' heads in the "homeland" are kept just as much in the dark about this issue as the inflation threat. That said, the greatest threat to America's future is the Bush team, who seem to be completely senseless when it comes to running an economy or running Amrerica as a going concern. They seem to be more inclined to view our future as a distress sale with fireworks.
