Interesting post. As of 2000 US census, Hispanic or Latino origin accounted for 32.4% of CA pop. and 12.5% of the US pop. 1990 census it was only 8-9%.

Mexicans are very hardworking people although a lot of them do not even speak fluent English. Across the US, restaurant helps, office/hotel cleanings are predominately Hispanic.
