you know anindo, regarding that article saying no company will locate their entire operation here in the bay area I have to tell you I have been reading that same story for 30 years since I was in high school. When I was at Berkeley the professors were saying this area was only a HQ and we would have to leave to find jobs. The new nanotech incubator Nanosys is located in Palo Alto, this is a brand new area. The other new area is robotics and a lot of that is Santa Monica which is just as nice as here.
