From plunger - noting the Q&A period after the speech:

I listened to the whole speech including questions.

His final comment was "I believe that the likelihood of unwelcome disinflation is higher than that of inflation at this point."

Maybe the speech was vetted for positive spin adequacy, but not the off-the-cuff answers to questions?

My Translation...
They are scared shitless over jobs but can not say it.
What else can it mean if they SEEM to expect jobs, and a strong GDP etc etc... but are still scared of "disinflation". Last month they were NEUTRAL. Now the renewed worry over disinflation.

A plunging market won't help them either.

M
