You are not going to get an interview from 60 minutes. it is owned by viacom, viacom also owns cbs , viacom also owns Simon & ? that published the book for Clarke.

This is all a promotion to sell the book, build up an audience for cbs and 60 minutes. You cannot expect 60 minutes to actually find faults in a book they are trying to sell.
