It's too late when they are one car-length ahead and in the adjacent lane on a four-lane and decide that they want to be in your lane, the tires don't indicate they are going to cross into your lane until it is well underway and too late for anything but survival adrenaline to take over.I always thought a roof-mounted 30-caliber machine gun with a robotic laser tracking device that tells the asshole starting to switch lanes without a signal, "STAY IN YOUR LANE! Don't even think about changing lanes this close to me without a signal." And if he proceeds any way, first a 3-round warning burst across his fender, then if necessary a friendly barrage of incendiaries at his gas tank.
