I'll be the first one to say that Bush has not been a great economic president. A lot has happened and so its not surprising that his admins focus was in other areas. That said, I believe much of the boom we saw in the 90's was as a result of trickle down economics.

then some of those blue collars figure why work for these guys and branch out to build their ships. and hire more workers and may even bring more competition to the area , cut prices, create more jobs, expand. wow.

Kid that grew up in my old neighborhood. lived over the meat market. dad drove a bus to send him to college. he became ceo of small boat building bus. in Marblehead ma. then he became ceo of scrap metal busines. and became a multimillionaire. not bad. god bless his sole.

I am amused how you come on breaking the news of 150 jobs created to build yatchs for some Kuwaiti sheikh. Should that be a consideration to vote for Bush. I am looking for job opportunities. I am looking for legislation where loopholes to take jobs overseas are plugged etc.

As I indicated earlier, I know of PhDs who are employees in $10/hr jobs because they do not have an "opportunity" for a job to matchj their skills except for if they go to India or China. Not in the US.
