I called up the agent to ask about the ownership issue. He said the current owner couldn't sell her other house so she is having difficulty keeping up with two mortgages. Then I asked what kind of improvements she made since taking ownership. He kind of listed a bunch of items but at the end, I concluded they couldn't possibly amount to more than a thousand dollars. Anyways, I have another appointment to see the house again tomorrow and I will try to ask more questions.
