They also don't want to dig into the vote fixing, the 9/11 commission or the draft.

I suspect the two parties have come to a nonpublic agreement on these 3 items, and neither of them will push very hard on these issues. The media will cooperate.

Florida voting fiasco redux

The requirement unfortunately is that Florida's crooked government can't be the arbiter of anything this year. Kerry needs to win big so that there is no dispute.

Otherwise, Iraq will just laugh at our inabilty to conduct ourselves democratically and dissolve into civil war.
