The Bushkees are not bringing out yet ANOTHER BS story about why we invaded Iraq.....one after another they continue down the list of bogus excuses to have our soldiers in the face of death for HIS war.....now it's
"they were shooting at our planes in the South and North Patrols...."
no longer WMD's.....911......or anything RELATED to what they TOLD US for months and months to convince the world (much unsuccessfully) that we HAD to invade to save the world....the only thing saved was Bush's ego to revenge his daddy and to make sure the oil boyz got their hands into a middle east oil rich country.....
and what has happened????
HIGHEST GAS PRICES IN HISTORY.....
HIGH DEATH TOLL OF AMERICAN TROOPS.....
CONTINUED TERRORISM IN EUROPE......
CONTINUED FREEDOM FOR THE REAL TERRORIST OSAMA......
CONTINUED RELATIONS WITH SAUDI'S.......

Besides, sadam insane violated every single one of the 17 peace accords, the very accords drawn up by the UN in 1991... this alone was reason enough to take Iraq, and if those other two countries weren't so self absorbed with greed, they would have joined us readily...

Absolutley correct. After 12 or 15 years of ignoring your obligations to peace you have to smack someone to remind the other bad actors it can happen. We did make a big mistake in not having Saddam himself sitting across the table from Schwartzkopf. If he wouldn't comply we should have used it as an excuse to go on to Baghdad. We let him act like an Emperor God to the Arab world.
