"An aging quadrapalegic in a wheelchair who is going about his life"

Unfortunately for him he had dedicated his life to slaughtering innocent people. The cause of Hamas is not the creation of a palestinian homeland, it is the complete destruction of Israel.

You are focusing on process, I am focusing on substantive justice. He deserved what he got.

GST, you did notice that we invaded Iraq, didn't you? Saddam was captured as a prisoner of war. He meekly surrendered. Had he put up any resistance, he would have been shot, as his sons were. This would not have been murder, but war.

Hamas is at war with Israel. Hamas has killed hundreds of Israelis, and if they haven't killed tens of thousands of Israelis yet, believe me it isn't for want of trying. The choice for Israel is simple: try to kill the terrorist leaders or grant them immunity.
