No one disputes the track record of Iraq, Egypt, Syria etc. Should have gone after OBL. It would be a shame if Spanish or French forces end up catching OBL, Mullah Mohammed Omar and Ayman Al Zawahiri. Apparently French have come pretty close to OBL before. (I would hate to see French get any glory, but that is a different story)

Wait! You can't invade their countries and then blame *them* if things go wrong! This is getting ridiculous indeed.

Japan and Europe turned out OK because Japan was homogeneous and every country within Europe was. Iraq is more likely to fracture along the lines of Yugoslavia, and would lead to a lot of headaches for us in the coming years and maybe even decades. But don't tell us that you weren't warned about this one! You already were, more than a year ago!
