Which Bush, OriginalBush or BabyBush? Terrorism isn't a modern phenomenon, this Bush, however, has given terrorism incredible weight by using it as one of his pretexts to wage war. OBL probably didn't dream that 19 men and 3 planes could create such ongoing havoc. What I see is fanatical fundamentalism on the rise in Iraq regardless of the yammering by Bremmer about protection of rights. He's gone, theoretically, in 3 months and what happens then? OBL wanted secular governments out and a return to some kind of fantasy medieval world. He's getting his wish thanks to Shrubbery.
