Prolife and all the conservative posters here: You know, I have been becoming angrier and angrier over this election season. I have tried to understand why as its really not healthy. Finally it dawned on me: We played a draw in Korea and Vietnam, we got our butts kicked in Somalia and I lost comrades in Beriut. Why, cause our POLITICIANS not our GENERALS ran the operations. Then along comes the Bush's. Bush Sr. (sounds almost biblical doesnt it?) lets the MILITARY run the operation and we have success, but in the end, he bows to POLITICAL pressure and doesnt close the deal (1/2 a victory). Then Bush Jr. enters the picture, he also lets our Generals run the operation and we kick some REAL BOOTY. Our people were ecstatic with joy, PRIDE returned to our nation, our troops were ALL HEROES and nearly worshipped. Now, along comes this Kerry fellow and his band of Democraps. These VERY POLITICIANS that robbed us of our glory so many times before NOW want to rob us of THIS. I TRULY BELIEVE THAT is the reason I am becoming so angry. HOW DARE THEM. I would appreciate comments from any of you but particulary those that have served in uniform, whether combat vets or not. jdn
