Shrub downgrades terrorism threat. This is the smoking gun: "...But this attack implicitly acknowledges that counterterrorism was downgraded as a priority at the White House, and thus disproves the Administration's claims that it was taking terrorism seriously before 9/11...." ======= Cabinet post to senior policy wonk position. The WH's main claim is that George Tenet spoke to the Prez everyday. One man on terrorism? What about a whole roomfull of policy wonks getting all relevant information and disseminating it for all? What is wrong with this WH? Obviously, they don't hold meetings, they don't discuss anything, they don't brook dissent because no amount of factual information will interfere with their ideological cement-headed attitudes. They're taking over the country, gutting the treasury and doing whatever they please with our military. Unbelievable. A vote for Bush is a vote for terrorism
