" Takes Hamas Threat Seriously "...

Hamas should be taken seriously.Last time I looked they were responsible for the murders of numerous Israelis by bombing them to little pieces.Hamas has also been a huge road block in the peace process road map.

Should they have assassinated this "spiritual leader ".

Well, should the US assassinate Ossama if they get the chance?

Most....hell... the vast vast majority would say... YES!

But the problem I have with this is that any killing is wrong..for whatever reason..unless WAR has been declared and those who do the killing are " legitimate " combatants and targets

But who are the " legitimate " combatants and targets in a struggle like this, where it seems one day they can be soldiers and the next be civilians?

But who are the "legitimate " combatants and targets in a struggle like this , when one who is deemed a " spiritual leader , also seconds as the instigator and coordinator of many of these bombing attacks.

Was he a legitimate target, given the above?

I think so.

Should the IDF have taken him out ?

Arresting him would have been better.

Should they kill more of them?

Let's see how they respond to this one.

If the Pals escalate the killing in revenge, the IDF should begin draining the swamp once and for all and get rid of the elements that are an obstacle to the peace process.

The next thing that needs to be done is get rid of Sharon and HIS extremists in the next elections.

Bush true to form. But Democrats taking the same tack. The problem is that Zionists (albeit with some tactical differences) are calling the foreign policy shots in BOTH parties. This cancer must be excised from the body politic if there is ever to be peace in the world.
