I'm not talking about the 911 attack's success which was, in and of itself, apparently more than OBL had expectedm I'm talking about the $200billion and 150,000 troops setting out to make Iraq open for fundamentalist whackos.

An offshoot of this is the isolation of the US, the mistrust of the rest of the world and the creation of new generations of furious fanatics. Even with his millions, OBL couldn't have accomplished any of this without those radicals Shrubbery/Rummy/Cheney/Rove et al.

It would be fabulous to have Iraq become a multiethnic, liberal republic with a representative democratic form of government (that would be nice in Florida also). Right now though that doesn't appear to be happening or do you know something that I don't?

At least for this week, the radicals are yelling very loudly on that side of the world and they're finger pointing at us. Is Shrub saying that we should get rid of the Patriot Act, the multicolored alert system, the checking of shoes at airports, the bomb sniffing canines? If we're so much safer because of Iraq, why aren't we standing down on security?

Huh?
