That is the difference between a leftist and a sane person who is lefty. I'm left-handed and none of this crap ever caused me to feel a bit "persecuted". (Dear me. How stupid.) For many things, including writing on those goofy desks, I just used my right hand, though I preferred the left. A bit sloppy initially, but I got used to it. Today I can write very well with either hand. I shoot leading with the left or right, depending on the gun. I can throw a ball with either, with either hand I can dribble a basketball with authority and even shoot it, which makes driving to the basket a lot of fun.

I am not naturally ambidextrous. I still favor the left. But I saw that my environment was quite often right-oriented, so I worked to adjust to it. Now I am superior to most people in this area. And I never felt persecuted a single day in my life.

By the way. Since I am now rocking my two-week old son with my stronger left arm, I am typing this post with my right hand, hitting the shift key and spacebar and all. Piece of friggin' cake.
