Tell me Chris, Everyone has rights, right? Should polygamists have right to multiple wives? Should perverts have rights to child pornography? (might sound facetious but a Canadian court in BC found in favor of an old pervert. Canadian Constitution allows him to possess child pornography.) Should a father have the right to have sex with his adult daughter? Everyone agrees we should all have rights. Your constitution gives you much freedom. However, as a society we have chosen to accept certain behaviors while disallowing others. Maybe it isn't logical. Maybe we can't explain it. But we do so for the greater good of our society. Only ten years ago no one ever considered the day when two men would be allowed to marry. Who's to say that ten years from now we won't be having a similar discussion about allowing incestual relationships?
