I don't have a guy in Iraq. I'd like to have it be a democratic (with federalism for the Kurds especially), secular republic with a constitution that's not based on any religion, God or mystical deity. I'd like it to rev up its oil industry and economy and pay our treasury back for the money we've spent there. I'd like it to declare Halliburton a criminal enterprise and kick it out of the country as well. The same could go for Bechtel but they're a private company and apparently under everyone's radar.

Unfortunately, they seem to be going the way of Afghanistan and possibly Iran. The constitution and the courts look like they will be based on Islam and the IGC has already adopted Sharia laws for domestic issues. Women are going back under the veil and getting assaulted in the streets a la the Taliban regime.

That's just peachy. The dark joke is that we'll have to go back and free the 50% of the population that is female sometime in the future.
