You said Bush didn't imply urgency and danger for the US.

I said "he never said that the Iraqi weapons where going to be used to blow up American cities in the next few months. He didn't even say what many accuse him of, that an attack with these weapons was imminent."


In one speech that I posted to you, he said it several times.

re: I do agree that Bush overstated the urgency of the possible threat from Iraq. My only point since the beginning was that Bush didn't say or even in any obvious way imply that there was an immediate threat of a WMD attack on the US if the US didn't invade Iraq.

To put a fine point on it, he tried to scare the sh-t out of people to justify his self satisfying war against the family nemesis.
